Pinkmove Cheering on the City of Newport Half Marathon 2026!
Pinkmove is excited to celebrate one of Newport’s most iconic annual events - the City of Newport Half Marathon, taking place on Sunday, 1st March 2026!
From 9am, the streets of Newport will come alive as hundreds of runners take on the thrilling 13.1‑mile challenge. The race begins on Usk Way, just outside the University of South Wales Newport Campus, before guiding participants through the vibrant city centre, over the striking SDR Bridge, and into the historic village of Caerleon. From there, runners follow the scenic paths beside the beautiful River Usk, heading towards an unforgettable finish.
But this event is more than just an impressive route, it’s a powerful fundraising mission in support of St David’s Hospice Care, helping to raise vital funds for essential hospice services across the region.
